This vintage, Griswold waffle maker, #9, with low base, is in good condition. Wooden handles on the metal coils, secure. One waffle piece is numbered 979A and the other one is 980A. I have cleaned this up, still some baked on black crust that could be cleaned up more. I then seasoned all three pieces. There are no breaks, cracks or chips in the cast iron. It appears to be in original condition, with an old patina. It will make 8 waffles. The item "Griswold Erie P.
