Massive 21-3/4 Antique 1800s Cast Iron LUMBER CAMP SKILLET From the Logging Days From the Northern Michigan Logging days of the late 1800s This is a relic from a cook shack in the lumbering days in Northeastern Michigan. Our region supplied the lumber that built the west, and the camps needed cookware large enough to feed an army of hungry lumberjacks. I doubt you will ever see another cast iron skillet this huge! It measures a whopping 21-3/4" in diameter, and 22-3/8" across the spouts.
From the tip of the handle to the tab on the front, it measures 27-1/2. It's just about 3 inches deep. The skillet by itself weighs in at 29 pounds. If you need a skillet with that WOW factor, this is the biggest and the best! A true antique, and at this point, probably one of a kind!I have searched the web over, and have never found anything like it. This is a used estate item, and as such, it may not be perfect. My goal is always a happy customer! Our parcel will be fully insured against loss or damage. So you have two choices.
