This is a HATS OFF TO GRISWOLD ashtray. It is in same condition as I found it. No cracks or big dings, one edge has a casting flaw, not perfect but not bad condition. You can see where the casting flashes were ground off when it was made at the factory. # 31 which is the mold number that was used when cast. These were made from cast iron and aluminium, this is cast aluminium. Factory original not a repop. But it is a rare and desirable item for the serious Griswold collector.
