This beauty is very clean with. No crusty build up, no odors, no rust, cracks, or repairs, there is NO movement when placed on a flat surface. Exceptionally smooth cooking surface with a few superficial utensil marks, gorgeous for a pan over 100 years old! This is Lightly seasoned, has a Beautiful logo, is clean and ready to use or display. Guarantee: This is guaranteed authentic Griswold cast iron.

These vintage pans are lighter weight than the new cast iron skillets. This quality of craftsmanship has been lost. You will love using these vintage pans, and may (as I do) wonder who has used it in the past.

Cleaning: The pan has been cleaned of the caked on grease, with all natural products, which gets a rancid smell when left without use for so many years as some of these have. I have not used any power tools to buff or polish these beautiful cast iron pans. I know what a crack looks like and I have thoroughly checked this pan for any cracks, warping, pits, rust and repairs. You may return the pan if you are not happy with it.
