Vintage Hard to Find Favorite No 2 Cast Iron Skillet Restored Condition

Hard to find Favorite No 2 cast iron skillet. The cooking surface has a few patches of shallow etching from corrosion and a few light utensil scores that are almost undetectable to the touch.

The outer edge of the the cooking surface (10 o'clock position) has a 1/4 shallow chip or pit. Look more like a chip to me. Surface is near glass smooth to the touch. Four sheets of printer paper stops movement on a granite surface. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.

This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Pan is well seasoned with several rounds of seasoning.

This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
