There is some surface rust over the entire piece, nothing of which caused any heavy pitting typical of a pot this age. What's amazing is the hand wrought chain that holds the lid on is still intact after all these years. The lid and kettle are embossed with the makers initials "SC" along with a design of which I'm not sure of.
The kettle was manufactured using a mold design as seen by the strong seam lines on the kettle. The three small legs are still intact. Overall dimensions of this pot is 7&1/2" tall (not counting the handle), and 8" in diameter. All sales are final unless there is a error in the listing.
