This antique Erie/Griswold skillet is most likely a third series manufacture 1895 to 1905. Overall cooking condition is very good and interior is smooth, well seasoned and has minimal wear.
The bottom has pitting in the center and the inscribed pattern # 713 is there but hard to discern - It is marked ERIE as seen and has the 9D mark at bottom. It is a very good "cooking" pan with all the high quality and cooking characteristics of antique ERIE iron. This pan has been cleaned to remove buildup of cooking deposits and still retain its decades of seasoning - It has not been re-seasoned after cleaning. Photos do a good job of showing the skillet as is. It is a #9 and measures 11 1/4 inches rim to rim and 12 1/4 lip to lip.
