Griswold #14 Cast Iron Skillet 718 Large Block Logo & Heat Ring Erie. Great piece, large enough to cook just about anything or to display as a collectors item.
It has a heat ring and double spout with no cracks. I believe this one is of the "du-chro" variety, meaning it is cast iron plated with chrome. This one in particular appears to be polished on the full interior cooking surface, top of the handle and top rim and matte on the bottom and outer sides. Some of the chrome has worn off from general use over the years and this one does have a wobble and spin. The large block logo with the heat ring dates back to the 1920's-30s.
This skillet measures 15.25" in diameter and 21.25" long with the handle. The #14 is the second largest skillet that griswold made, after the #20.The item "Griswold #14 Cast Iron Skillet 718 Large Block Logo Heat Ring Erie" is in sale since Thursday, September 16, 2021.
