It is free of cracks and chips and sits flat. It has been stripped in a lye bath, cleaned and seasoned twice with Crisco in a 500 degree oven, has a nice smooth surface and is ready to use. Measurements: 11" across the top, 8 1/2" cooking surface and is 3 1/2 deep.
