This is the Gorgeous Le Creuset Matte White 3 1/2 Qt. (3.3 L) #24 Cast Iron Dutch Oven/Risotto Pan/Sauteuse. It is also referred to as the Wide Round Dutch Oven-- It is brand new and is in the new Classic Series that has the larger knob on the top, larger side handles for gripping, and the paint used is supposed to be more durable. Describe it anyway you want to-it is absolutely beautiful, and a must have, if you are a lover of white or Le Creuset cookware. It will be one of your favorite pieces-not only to use but to admire enough to leave it setting out on your stove year around. It does hold 3 1/2 Qt. (3.3L) and measures 9-1/2 (24Cm) in diameter without the handles.

Including the handles it is 12- 1/2 (31.5 cm)across. The pot measures 3-1/2" (9 cm) high without the lid-with the lid on stands approximately 5- 1/2 " (14 cm) high. It is actually a little wider and lower than a regular 3-1/2 Qt dutch oven. It would be perfect to cook and serve sukiyaki, risottos, paellas, soups, casseroles, stews, or any other thing you would be inclined to make. This is brand new, has the original labels on the side and bottom, and comes in it's original Le Creuset box, although the box may not be in perfect condition.

As with all cast iron pieces, there may be a tiny "pepper" speck or "dimple" on it which is not a flaw, but considered perfectly normal by the company. As with all Le Creuset pots, it goes from freezer to stove top to oven to table and is gorgeous just sitting on a shelf in your kitchen-it's sure to get compliments from anyone who sees it.
