MACA 9 INCH Cast Iron Dutch Oven

Up for sale a 9 inch 5 qt Maca cast iron Dutch oven with an eagle on the lid. This pot is seasoned perfectly. They come unseasoned raw from the factory. From Idaho as that is the only place to get them that I know of. They are currently out of stock. I'm clearing out my collection, and never used this one. You will be the talk of the camp cooking in this. The MACA Supply Co once manufactured their cast iron pots in Springville, Utah before outsourcing manufacturing to India. In 2013 MACA announced they would stop all manufacturing of their cast iron pots leaving many customers and collectors quite disappointed. These pots are highly collectible and very hard-to-find. MACA specializes in deep dutch ovens made for outdoor cooking. The company claims that its pots are heavier than others on the market because they are made with more metal.

This makes for better heat retention and more even heat distribution. The Extra heavy lid is made to handle more burning coal for a "pressure cooker effect" to your cooking. The 3 legs on the pots offer stability when cooking or resting on uneven surfaces.

These pots are poured from sand molds so they are not as smooth as your typical cast iron cookery. Heavy duty, well made, these pots can be passed down from generation to generation. A must have for any collector!
