From my collection to yours. It has no cracks, chips, rust, major pits or significant casting flaws beyond the area of the gate mark. It does spin on my glass stovetop so it would work better on a gas stove. I don't believe the skillet is warped but rather the original casting of the smooth bottom (no heat ring) left thicker iron near the center. 3 playing cards at 9:00, 12:00 and 3:00 makes it stable.
The cooking surface is flat except for a small area inside of the rim near the handle. This is not unexpected for a skillet 150+ years old.Cleaned by electrolysis, nicely seasoned with Crisco and black. Please have a look at the pictures to see the exact condition. Please message me if you have questions or need more photos.
