Rare Chicken Foot WAPAK No 8 Cast Iron Skillet Excellent Restored Condition

After the Indian Head, the next most sought after WAPAK logo among collectors is the "Chicken Foot" logo. The cooking surface is in great condition with only the slightest amount of utensil scores. Both are undetectable as you glide your fingers over a very smooth surface. Six sheets of printer paper stops movement on a granite surface. There are no chips, cracks or repairs and does not spin.

This item was stripped down using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. One round of seasoning at 450 degrees with Crisco for several hours. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color.
