S-1268 No 8 plated hammered finished cast iron Dutch Oven with plated cast iron trivet. Plating is in very good condition for its age. Cooking surface has hints of utensil score and etching from corrosion. These are undetectable as you glide your fingers over a near glass smooth surface.

Four sheets of printer paper stops movement on a granite surfaces. No chips, cracks or repairs and does not spin. Item was stripped down to original finish using collector approved lye bath treatments.

This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Interior surface is well seasoned with several rounds of seasoning.
