This is a fully restored Lodge #8 "no-notch" cast iron pan with the Lodge Arc Logo. As you can see from the video and pics, there is no rust damage, pitting or wobbles. There is a small casting defect just to the right of the handle that I've shown in the last image. This one's NOT a spinna! And I would put it in the collector's category based on age, rarity and condition. But I hope it is bought as a "user's" pan because it's light and well-made and ready to cook some great meals! I will say that this is probably the nicest example of early American cast iron I've restored. It's a great pan!

As with all my cast iron restorations, the color of the pan is somewhere between bronze and black. This is due to a combination of the iron composition and the grapeseed oil used to season it at 515° in my oven. The color will darken over time to a nice gray/black once you start using it. Bake some cornbread, fry some bacon or sear some steaks and you'll see the seasoning age to perfection!
