RESTORED PRE GRISWOLD ERIE 9 Second Series Cast Iron SITS FLAT

The second series has the distinct reinforced lip and handle and. This pan does have sulfur pitting from being used over coal stoves in the late 1800's, early 1900's. Inside is smooth and really nice with some marks and blemishes as expected with a piece over 100 years old.

Photos taken in daylight to show any discoloration. This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process ensures the removal of all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. The item is lightly seasoned with 4 rounds of crisco at 450 for 1 hour.
