This Japanese Sukiyaki pan comes from the Nambu region of Japan which is famous for it's ironware. Made of cast iron it measures 9 in diameter and can be used on or over gas, electric or coals for cooking.
We have kept it in the state that we found it in so it shows some rust through lack of use, but that can be easily removed. It has two original rings for holding a chain over flames to allow for boiling or frying. With care this pan is highly collectible and definitely useable and should last well into the end of this century and beyond. A great talking point at your next cook out!
