Both Items : - Have been E-TANK RESTORED - TWICE SEASONED It has taken me 4 years to develop my seasoning process. It is thin layered hiding NO structural or surface blemishes of the cast iron - yet constructed strong to protect against and to withstand higher heats and utensil usage that lasts and doesnt easily ware down. It also easily conforms after a couple uses to the customers individual taste and cooking style. Lid Cover sets flat and has good seal on top of Dutch Oven - Have NO CRACKS OR REPAIRS The Dutch Oven still has Griswold Factory Mill-Grind-Marks on the outside bottom rims (refer to photo #11).
