Vintage Arc Logo Lodge No 4 Cast Iron Excel Restored Condition

This is a vintage and rare arc LODGE-lettered No 4 cast iron skillet dates from about 1925 through the 1930s, with the desirable single-notch heat ring and that exceptional smooth finish typical of Lodge bake-ware from that era. This skillet has an A makers mark. Cooking surface a few tiny shallow pits. These are undetectable as you glide your fingers over a glass smooth surface. Two sheets of printer paper slipped under one edge on the bottom of the pan stops movement on a granite surface. No chips, cracks or repairs and does not spin. Item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Item is well seasoned with several rounds of seasoning. This items were photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color.
