Vintage Block Logo Griswold No 8 (1278A) Cast Iron Dutch Oven Ex Restored Cond

Beautiful 1950s Griswold No 8 cast iron dutch oven in excellent restored condition. The cooking surface has some utensil scores and a few shallow pits that are undetectable as you glide your fingers over its glass smooth surface. The pot sits dead flat on a glass surface. Lid features the "EZ Clean" enamel coating on the inside surface. No chips, cracks or repairs to pot or lid and does not spin.

This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Pan is well seasoned with several rounds of seasoning.

This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
