Vintage Block Logo Griswold No 8 (704D) Cast Iron Skillet Ex Restored Condition

A nice example of a block logo Griswold No 8 cast iron skillet in restored condition. The cooking surface is glass smooth to the touch with light utensil scores. Four sheet of printer paper stops movement on a glass stove top. There are no chips, cracks or repairs and does not spin. This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Five rounds of seasoning at 450 degrees with Crisco for several hours. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
