Vintage ERIE Pre-Griswold No 8 Cast Iron Skillet Restored Condition

Vintage Erie pre-Griswold No 8 cast iron skillet featuring an ornate "8". Cooking surface has a few patches of fine etching from corrosion and is near glass smooth to the touch. Pan has some movement on a granite surface (see photos). No chips cracks or repairs. Item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Item is well seasoned with several rounds of seasoning.

This items were photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color.
