Vintage 1940's Griswold "Matching" Skillet Set: #3,4,5,6,7,8, 9, and 10 in very good to great condition, clean, seasoned, and ready to use or display. Each skillet has been seasoned 3 times with a proper drying oil (organic flaxseed oil, in this case). S 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. Evenly graduated in size from Griswold's small #3 skillet measuring 6-1/2" across the rim up to their most popular large #8 skillet measuring 10-1/2" across the rim, plus their very large #9 skillet measuring 11-1/4" across the rim and #10 skillet measuring 12-3/4".

PATTERN NUMBER (PN): 3 Digit PN incised on bottom of each skillet --- PN 709-I, 702-B, 724-L, 699-S, 701-I, 704-N, 710-H, 716-B. MARKED: Top of skillet handles incised with respective size numbers 3 through 10. FEATURES: Matching Set --- All skillets have smooth bottoms, matching GRISWOLD small block logo and matching "Late Handle" style with rounded teardrop cutout for hanging if desired.

CONDITION: Very good to great --- No breaks, chips, cracks, rust or warping, with each skillet sitting flat on the stovetop or in the oven. Very minor pitting in random places, but not bad at all. Please see photos for a better understanding.

The cooking surface of each skillet is flat and smooth like satin, an indication of the highest grade iron ore from the period being used when cast. OF SPECIAL NOTE: The #9 skillet still shows its milling marks from manufacture as indication of very little use. This lovely vintage 1940's Griswold Matching Skillet Set (#3,4,5,6,7,8, 9, & 10) is in very good to great condition, clean, seasoned, ready for use, and makes a striking display.
