Vintage Griswold Cast Iron Chuckwagon Dutch Oven Restored Cond (310 & 843)

This is a vintage cast iron Griswold chuckwagon covered oven pattern 310 with "flanged cover, " pattern 843. Some people call this a 3-legged Dutch oven. These are used for cooking over a bed of charcoal or briquets. Although it does not leak, the pot has cracks around the legs, and is priced accordingly.

Item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more.

Item is well seasoned with several rounds of seasoning. This items were photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color.

Items are much darker under normal light. Photos are part of the items description.
