Vintage Martin Stove & Range No 8 Cast Iron Shallow Skillet Restored Cond

This is a vintage Martin No 8 cast iron shallow skillet in restored condition. Martin is known for not applying a polished finish to some of their cooking surfaces. This is an example of one of them with an as-cast finish. The pan does have a slight twist causing the pan to have movement on a granite surface. No chips, cracks or repairs and does not spin. This item is from an old collection that was cleaned and seasoned, then stored for many years. Because item was stored for many years, there may be spots of light surface rust.

This can generally be washed away then re-seasoned before use. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item may take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
