The Skillet sits flat, no chips or cracks, fairly smooth cooking surface with a heat ring on the bottom of the skillet. The lid is a little rough around the edges. From spout to spout is 14 inches with a depth of 3 inches approx. The lid from spout to spout is 14 1/2 inches approx. The lid doesn't seem to have any rust. The skillet has a small amount.
