Just look at the photos, this one is NICE! I gave the skillet a quick dip in a lye bath and scoured it senseless to remove all carbon deposits, although there wasn't much to speak of, then seasoned it with three layers of buzzywaxx on a hot grill.

The lid didn't need a lye soak so I just scoured it senseless and seasoned it with four coats of buzzywaxx on a hot grill. The skillet sets flat but does have a slight lift on the right side. One business card will slide under it but two will not.
